Our beloved owner and friend, Budd Van Roekel, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2012.
The family of Gordon (Budd) Van Roekel would like to extend special thanks to the many friends, relatives and loved ones for all the prayers, love and support given at our time of need.
A private memorial service will be held for family and close friends at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the US Foundation of Amateur Roller Skating, Attn: Peggie, 4530 S. Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68506, or to the American Diabetic Charity Fund.

We are open for tasting every day from 10 am to 5 pm. We are closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Wine bar tastings are $10 for five tastes and a logo wine glass; champagne/sparkling wine tastings are $10 for four tastes and a logo champagne flute. For $18 you can purchase a Dual Pass which gives you the Wine Bar Tastings (5 at Maurice Car'rie and 5 at Van Roekel) or the Champagne Tastings (4 at Maurice Car'rie and 4 at Van Roekel) at both Maurice Car'rie and Van Roekel. The Maurice Car’rie Vineyard & Winery is nestled amidst the rolling hills of beautiful Temecula Valley. The winery was founded in 1986, and designed after a Victorian-style farmhouse. The 46 acres of vineyards were the first vineyards established in the region in 1968.
Owners, Budd and Maurice Van Roekel, and winemaker, Gus Vizgirda, are focused on wines that are ready to drink at a fairly early age. They handcraft 14 varietals that have received hundreds of awards and accolades in a long list of competitions.

The Maurice Car’rie tasting room provides wine tasting to guests who are invited to relax in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The winery is known in Temecula Wine Country for its lovely picnic grounds and famous Baked Brie and Sourdough Bread baked on weekends only, available unbaked every day.
